During the past 25 years, he has influenced thousands of patients on their journey to a new standard of health and spent a remarkable amount of time expanding his own knowledge of diagnostics and nutrition.

Born and raised in the south-central region of North Carolina, Dr. McKay was an intuitive and inquisitive child. In his teens he decided that he had a desire to follow a similar path to his uncle, who was an esteemed Doctor of Chiropractic in Alabama and with whom he had spent much time observing during his summers.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1996, he applied and was accepted to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. In February of 2000, Dr. McKay graduated cum laude from Palmer and relocated back to the Sandhills of North Carolina to establish his own private practice.

He has completed more than 300 hours of studies in Diagnosis and Internal Disorders, from the American Board of Chiropractic Internists and has completed over 100 hours of post-graduate studies in Applied Kinesiology. Dr. McKay applies diagnostic testing and nutrition in everyday practice to treat an array of difficult cases. In addition, he has lectured for over 10 years to healthcare practitioners on the Application of Functional Nutrition and Herbal Therapies to restore human health. During his transformation from student to seasoned physician, Dr. McKay has maintained his vision and life-calling of helping restore patients to an optimal state of health through education and compassion.

Dr. McKay resides in Carthage with his beloved wife and homeschool mom, Amanda Norris McKay. Together, they have five treasured sons - Trent, Ethan, Logan, Galen, and Chance.
